South University Brings New Higher Education Opportunities to the Piedmont Triad

University today announced its expansion into the Piedmont Triad with the addition of a new campus in High Point. With classes starting in January 2013, the newly constructed campus comprises more than 40,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, a library and office space. It is conveniently located just south of the intersection of I-40 and N.C. 68, at 3975 Premier Drive, High Point, N.C., 27265.

The campus can accommodate nearly 1,000 students with space to expand. Financial aid is available to students who qualify.

“We are proud to bring South University’s tradition of academic excellence to the Piedmont Triad, an area that values higher education and the benefits it can bring to students and the community as a whole,” said John T. South, III, Chancellor of South University. “Our new campus will provide area residents with opportunities to help them achieve their personal and academic goals.” 
Initially, South University’s High Point campus will offer the following programs:

Paralegal Studies
  •     Bachelor of Arts (BA)
Psychology
  •     Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Business Administration 
  •     Bachelor of Science (BS)
Criminal Justice 
Healthcare Management
  •     Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Business Administration
  •     Master of Arts (MA)
Clinical Mental Health Counseling

“Our dedicated faculty and supportive small-campus culture will help guide students to an education that will allow them to compete in today’s job market,” said Michael Trembley, president of the new campus. “Our programs are designed to graduate students who possess the professional skills that sought by employers in the region, and we look forward to partnering with employers to provide quality learning experiences for our students.”
