When the producers of 4th Friday Clearwater put together its kick-off for the 30th Anniversary of the Clearwater Jazz Holiday on September 25th, they knew they had to have performances by none other than the renowned jazz band, Level 10. Known as “a unique band that has mastered the blend of smooth and contemporary jazz music,” Level 10 has been recognized by the area’s top Smooth Jazz Music radio station, WSJT, and was honored to become the winner of the WSJT’s Best Smooth Jazz Band 2008.
After founding a successful recording studio and producing several albums, Levy DeAndrade decided to use his musical expertise and form a band. After four years of searching out local talent, he found not only the best players in their fields, but also the right chemistry to create a mature group of musicians dedicated to creating soul-inspiring smooth jazz music.
Levy and his band deliver what all jazz music lovers desire: musical talent with feeling and soul! And they’ll be rippin’ it up in September at the 4th Friday Clearwater event.
4th Friday Clearwater Parties on Cleveland Street are free. The only suggested donation this September will be a non-perishable food item for the RCS Food Bank who recently ran dangerously low on food.
Two city blocks will be closed down on Cleveland Street in Downtown Clearwater with beer, wine, food and wares for sale. The party starts at 5:30pm and will go until 10pm.
The CLEARWATER JAZZ HOLIDAY FOUNDATION will be the benefiting charity supplying volunteers to run the beer and wine stands.
