Lindsay Lohan just can’t stay out of trouble. Five months after finally being removed from probation in her 2007 DUI arrests, Lohan is facing charges in a hit and run accident in New York City.
According to police, the troubled actress was driving her manager and an unidentified male friend in a Porsche Cayenne early Sunday morning when she allegedly hit a 34-year-old Hispanic man in an alley between the Maritime and Dream Hotels. After checking the damage to her vehicle, Lohan and her passengers went inside the Dream’s nightclub. The unidentified victim was treated at a nearby hospital for a knee injury.
"While driving down the alley, she was trying to get people to step aside by flashing her lights. Everyone moved except one person. The individual is claiming a knee injury and was taken to Bellevue Hospital,” an NYPD rep confirmed to Us Weekly magazine.
Lohan was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident when she exited the club around 2:30 a.m. She was released without bail.
The 26-year-old has not commented on her arrest. In March, a judge took Lohan off probation in her DUI cases because she fulfilled all of her probation requirements. The judge left Lohan on informal probation in her 2011 necklace theft case until May 24, 2014, and warned the actress that she could face up to 245 days in jail if she breaks any laws before that date.
