In the new issue of People magazine, new mom Kristin Cavallari opens up about motherhood and Camden’s birth on August 8th. She also shows off baby Camden in a series of new photos.
“I like having this life that I’m responsible for. It’s exciting and so rewarding, but it’s also a little scary!” the 25-year-old admits.
“It was the most incredible moment I’ve ever felt,” she says of holding her son for the first time. “With Camden, I’ve realized what really matters. We’re a family.”
The former Hills star tells People her fiance Jay Cutler, 29, is already convinced Camden will be an athlete. “He pointed out right away how big his feet are! And his hands were massive — he’ll sure be able to hold a football,” she says.
Cavallari announced her pregnancy in January. "We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together," Cavallari and Cutler said in a statement at the time. "It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."
The couple began dating in late 2010 and got engaged in April 2011. They called off their engagement in July, but announced their wedding plans were back on four months later.
