Singer Fiona Apple is being held in a West Texas jail following a drug bust. TMZ.com reports the 35-year-old was taken into custody in Sierra Blanca, the same town where Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg were previously arrested for drug possession, when police found hashish on her tour bus. Hashish is a type of marijuana.
Apple is thought to be in Hudspeth County Jail. No other details were immediately available. Her rep has not commented and it is unclear if she will be able to play her Austin concert scheduled for tonight.
Apple is touring to promote her new album, The Idler Wheel. The album was released in June.
