Healthy Eating Guidelines – Eat healthy, live longer

Jayson Hunter reveals healthy eating guidelines for a longer, healthier life.

Given the increasing costs of healthcare, it has become imperative that we take of our health and ensure that we remain healthy. Registered dietiyian, Jayson Hunter reveals some healthy eating guidelines for a longer and healthier life. He believes that by following some basic healthy eating guidelines we can live a healthier lifestyle and bring down our healthcare costs in the future.

Hunter explains, “The golden rule for a healthy life is to eat right. Healthy eating guidelines help you do just that. Healthy eating guidelines ensure that you eat foods which will give your body the right amount of nutrients that it needs”. He adds, “Healthy eating guidelines are not just for older people, in fact given the amount of junk food that teenagers consume today, healthy eating guidelines are equally important if not more, for them as well”.

Here are some of Hunter’s healthy eating guidelines:

1) Breakfast: Make sure you do NOT skip your breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day and extremely important to boost your body’s metabolism early on in the day.

2) Pre-processed foods: These are extremely harmful to your health since they contain harmful preservatives and are loaded with saturated fats. Avoiding such foods is one the best health eating guidelines you will find.

3) Drink water: Keeping your body hydrated is extremely important for you health. More so, since many a times your body confuses thirst with hunger and you end up consuming calories you don’t require.
