Son’s Of Anarchy Star Johnny Lewis Found Dead, Suspected In Woman’s Murder

Los Angeles authorities confirm actor Johnny Lewis, who played prospect Half Sack on FX’s “Son’s of Anarchy” for two seasons, was involved in a bizarre crime spree that left him and his 81-year-old landlord dead at her Los Feliz, California home. Lewis is currently the only suspect in the beating death of homeowner Katherine Davis. He was found dead on the driveway after having apparently fallen from the roof.

Investigators believe Lewis, 28, rented a room at Davis’ home. He apparently beat her to death Wednesday morning before going outside and confronting at least two male neighbors who heard her screams. Witnesses reportedly saw him attack the men with a piece of wood. Lewis then climbed to the roof and fell to his death.

"The best we're piecing together now is that it appears that some type of altercation occurred inside of the house resulting in the death of the woman,” LAPD Commander Andrew Smith told reporters. “Then this individual ran outside, had an altercation with a couple of neighbors, ran back into the house and by the time we got here, he had fallen or had somehow died on the driveway.”

In addition to “Son’s of Anarchy,” Lewis’ most notable acting credits include recurring roles on “The O.C.” and “American Dream," as well as a major role in the 2007 film “Aliens vs. Predator – Requiem.” His other film credits include “One Missed Call” and “The Runaways.” Lewis also made appearances on TV’s “CSI,” “Criminal Minds,” “Bones” and “Cold Case.” He once dated pop star Katy Perry.
