SunLink Health Systems, Inc. today announced that it expects its quarterly reports on Form 10-Q for the quarters ended September 30, 2008, December 31, 2008 and March 31, 2009, to be restated due to the impact of non-cash accounting errors at the Company’s Carmichael’s Cashway Pharmacy, Inc. subsidiary.

Sunlink Health Systems, Inc. (Sunlink) is a provider of healthcare services through the operation of exurban and rural community hospitals in the United States. The healthcare operations are conducted through direct and indirect subsidiaries, including SunLink Healthcare LLC (SHL) and HealthMont LLC (HealthMont). The Company operates a total of seven community hospitals in four states. It also owns six and lease one of the hospitals. The hospitals are general acute care hospitals and have a total of 402 licensed beds. In April 2008, the Company acquired Carmichael's Cashway Pharmacy, Inc.
