International Rectifier, A power management chips for satellites and aircraft maker based El Segundo based, announced that a chip of its own make IR1168 SmartRectifier IC which is used for high-end LCD TVs power converters, has been chosen in EDN China magazine's Innovation Awards 2009 as a finalist.
Industrial experts panel and EDN China's technical editors nominated the finalists in this year's competition. The winner has to be selected by the readers, through online ballot.
