Another Celebrity Death Could Have Been Avoided With Successful Drug Rehab

With speculation of drug abuse surrounding DJ Adam Goldstein's death, celebrity drug rehab is becoming more and more vital

Incredibly, after surviving a plane crash in 2008 Adam Goldstein (best known as DJ AM) was found dead in his apartment of an apparent drug overdose on Friday. Reports of drug paraphernalia in the apartment soon surfaced, leading people to believe that the addiction he beat so many years ago had taken his life.

Goldstein is just one of many celebrities that lost their lives recently as a result of drug addiction.

It seems like yesterday when the world was shocked to hear that Michael Jackson, The King of Pop, had died of a lethal dose of drugs, administered by none other than his own doctor and before that the terrible news of the death of actor Heath Ledger and TV star Anna Nicole Smith.

But the worst part is that these lives could have been saved had they committed to an effective celebrity drug rehab facility.

“A celebrity needing help for a drug addiction is not much different than any other individual who struggles with abuse issues,” says Jeff Lukas, Executive Director of Narconon Louisiana. “But the situation is often times more public, so going into a drug rehab program that can really achieve results is very important.”

“That is where Narconon Louisiana comes in,” he explains. “Our drug treatment program achieves a more than 76% success rate for permanent sobriety from addiction.”

Located just outside of Baton Rouge, Narconon Louisiana opened its doors 3 years ago and has helped more than 150 clients attain freedom from drug abuse. The reason why the program is so effective is because it handles addiction on two levels; first, through a unique detoxification method called The New Life Detoxification Program, addicts are able to rid the body of harmful substances that are left behind from drugs. The program then handles the mental and emotional aspects of addiction and gets into the underlying reasons why the person started using drugs in the first place.

"It's important to realize that all people do not want to be addicted to drugs,” explains Lukas. “However, they cannot see a way to overcome them." "We are able to provide them with treatment that returns them to society ethical, productive and drug-free."

Effective drug rehab for celebrities can no longer afford to be neglected.  If you or anyone you know is in need of a drug treatment program that gets results contact Narconon Louisiana today at 866-422-4650.
