The win was the 12th in a row for the Mavericks, an accomplishment they had already achieved once this year. Dirk Nowitzki finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds for Dallas. Jermaine O’Neal led the Pacers with 20 points and 16 rebounds in the loss.
The Detroit Pistons (19-11) got 27 points from Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince added 15 points and 10 rebounds in their 92-68 romp over the N0/Oklahoma City Hornets (12-20). The Pistons built a 26 point lead by halftime and limited the Hornets to just 33 percent shooting from the field. Jannero Pargo led the Hornets in scoring with 16 points but shot a paltry 6-24 from the field.
The Los Angeles Lakers (21-11) blew a 16-point halftime lead but managed to beat the Sacramento Kings (14-16) 132-128 in overtime. Kobe Bryant had 42 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists and Brian Cook added 26 points to lead the Lakers. Mike Bibby led the Kings with 38 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists in the loss.
