California B&Bs Offer Military Specials in Honor of Veteran’s Day

In honor of the men and women who serve in the U.S. military, several members of the California Association of Bed & Breakfast Inns (CABBI) are offering military specials in conjunction with Veterans’ Day (November 11, 2012). Many of the military lodging specials are valid through the month of November, while some are valid through spring or even year-round.

Coronado Island was the birthplace of U.S. Naval Aviation over 100 years ago, and it is rumored that the country’s original military pilots stayed at the 1906 Lodge. During the month of November, active duty military service members can save up to $70 per night with the 1906 Lodge’s Romantic Getaway special.
