10-Year-Old Inadvertently Hangs Himself After Viewing Saddam Hussein Execution
A 10-year-old Texas boy who had recently viewed a television clip of the execution of Saddam Hussein inadvertently hanged himself on Sunday.
The young boy was found hanging from his bunk bed with a slipknot tied around his neck.
On Saturday the boy had watched a news program with his uncle that aired video of the hangmen putting a noose around the neck of Saddam Hussein. The boy’s uncle told reporters that his nephew had asked him questions regarding the former Iraqi dictator.
Described by his uncle as a curious 10-year-old, it is believed that the boy was unaware of the dangers involved with his actions.
