New Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is officially a mom! The 37-year-old gave birth to a healthy baby boy Sunday night, her husband Zachary Bogue announced Monday on Twitter.
"Baby boy Bogue born last night. Mom (@marissamayer) and baby are doing great – we couldn't be more excited!" he Tweeted.
Mayer and Bogue have not decided on a name for their son. According to journalism professor Jeff Jarvis, the couple is asking their contacts for name suggestions. "Just got a large-group email from @marissamayer. She's crowdsourcing suggestions for Baby Boy Bogue's name! How digital can you get?" Jarvis Tweeted.
Mayer will not be taking a maternity leave. A Yahoo rep says she will be "working remotely and is planning to return to the office as soon as possible, likely in 1-2 weeks." Mayer joined Yahoo in July after 13 years with Google.
