Mr. Redman joined Asset Acceptance Corp. in January 1998 as Vice President-Finance, Secretary and Treasurer. Mr. Redman was appointed as our Chief Financial Officer in May 2002. Prior to joining us, Mr. Redman worked in public accounting for 13 years, the last 11 years at BDO Seidman, LLP, Troy, Michigan, serving as a Partner in the firm from July 1996 to December 1997.
Mr. Redman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. In 2008, Mr. Redman was honored as Crain’s CFO of the Year.
