Darrell Gardner represented KnowledgeCentrix at Data Center World 2012 on Oct. 2, where he spoke about Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) as it related to what's inside of one's data center and why keeping that data center healthy is important.
Gardner said, "I was extremely excited to present on a topic that is near and dear to me. The tool that I presented is something that I have developed over the years and have used for almost every engagement I have tackled."
With more than 30 years of experience, Gardner has spent his career focused on information systems and IT solutions. Prior to joining KnowledgeCentrix, Gardner was a driving force behind PlanNet’s data center consulting practice, as a Principal Consultant, Directing Migration Services. During his eight years at PlanNet, he completed many successful projects for notable companies such as Broadcom, Toyota Motor Sales and Ingram Micro. In addition, Gardner has held positions consisting of Director of Information Systems to a CTO position for the data center and colocation facility for SolnTec.
