Jan Hejda scored the game-winning goal with 1:14 remaining in overtime to lift the Edmonton Oilers (20-18-4) past the Los Angeles Kings (16-22-6) 2-1. Dwayne Roloson stopped 34 of the 35 shots he faced for Edmonton. Jarret Stoll put the Oilers in the lead with a power play goal in the second period but the Kings evened the score at 1-1 when Konstantin Pushkarev found the back of the net in the third quarter. Mathieu Garon had agood game in goal for the Kings with 27 saves but was unable to stop Hejda’s shot in overtime.
