About IsoRay, Inc.

IsoRay, Inc. (IsoRay) is utilizing its radioisotope technology to produce a therapeutic medical isotope with a goal of providing improved patient outcomes in the treatment of prostate cancer and other malignant disease. IsoRay began production and sales of Proxcelan Cesium-131 (Cs-131) brachytherapy seed, in October 2004, for the treatment of prostate cancer after clearance of its pre-market notification (510(k)), by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In December 2007, IsoRay began selling its Proxcelan Cs-131 seeds for the treatment of ocular melanoma. Cs-131 could also be applied as a treatment for other solid tumor applications such as breast, lung, liver, brain and pancreatic cancer, expanding the total available market opportunity for Cs-131 brachytherapy.
