After 9 years of marriage, Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer have reportedly called it quits. The Sydney Morning Herald reports the split is amicable. Split rumors first surfaced over the summer after Spencer was spotted getting cozy with her former Dancing with the Stars pro partner Damien Whitewood. Neither Crowe, 48, nor Spencer, 43, has commented.
Crowe is currently in New York to film Noah while Spencer is in Sydney, Australia with their sons Charles, 8, and Tennyson, 6. The actor can be seen next in The Man with the Iron Fists. His upcoming films include Les Miserables, Broken City and Man of Steel.
Crowe and Spencer met in 1989 while filming The Crossing together. They dated on and off before tying the knot on Crowe’s New South Wales ranch in April 2003. It was the first marriage for both.
