Former Real Housewives of D.C. star Michaele Salahi is ready to wed again just two months after finalizing her divorce from first husband Tareq Salahi. A rep for the 47-year-old self-proclaimed socialite confirms Journey guitarist Neal Schon, 58, popped the question on stage during a performance in Baltimore Sunday night.
“They were on stage when he proposed, then they had a cake after work backstage. The diamond was pretty large,” Salahi’s agent tells E! News.
After leaving Tareq for Schon in September 2011, Michaele told the Daily Beast she had dated the Journey musician in the 90s, but ultimately chose to marry Tareq because she thought that “life would be less stressful living on a vineyard in Virginia.” “Life on the road with a rock band… well, I thought I might not have been able to keep up,” she explained.
Schon told the Daily Beast he was very happy to be dating Michaele again “after waiting for her for 15 years.”
Michaele filed for divorce from Tareq last December.
