Frolic Pictures
has completed principal photography on their latest endeavor, Slink, a horror/thriller picture involving a
crazed tanning salon creeper-killer, Dale (Art Roberts), and his glamorous wife, Joan (Dawna Lee Heising), whose business in manufacturing
mysterious leather purses has innocent girls like Kayla (Danika Galindo), and Playboy's Jade Bryce, fighting to survive. Executive Producer Julia Faye West also stars as the strange and seductive
Aunt May.
The film was directed by new-wave exploitation director, Jared Masters, and is the fourth film to color the
company's pallet, along with 8 Reels of Sewage, Hollywood a GoGo, and Climb It, Tarzan!, which comes to DVD and digital markets everywhere on October 23rd,
2012. Tim McCombe worked his usual magic as cinematographer, with production
design by the brilliantly ill exploitation film archivist Adam Trash. Slink is
slated for a June 2013 release.
After the unexplained death of their Uncle
Arlo, Kayla Nunez and her sister venture to his home in the rural town of
Wickenhaven. They plan to claim their share of his estate, but their trip takes
a drastic turn after discovering that their uncle's house is occupied by a
mysterious relative, Aunt May, who may be harboring deadly secrets. Complicating
matters is the deranged, lust-filled tanning salon owner, Dale, and his exotic
wife, Joan, whose business in designer handbags is the backbone to the entire
town's economy, and possibly the darkest fashion controversy the world will
ever know.
