Saddam Hussein Execution Video Gives Way to Saddam Hussein Corpse Video
After the Saddam Hussein Execution Video controversy began to slow down, a new video has surfaced showing the former Iraqi dictator’s corpse with a gaping neck lesion. The bloody wound was a result of Hussein’s execution by hanging on December 30.
The new video of Hussein’s corpse is just under 30 seconds in length and appears as if it was filmed with a camera phone. It was clear that the video was being shot unauthorized as voices could be heard saying “Hurry up, hurry up. I'm going to count from one to four. One, two ... . Hurry up you're going to get us into a catastrophe.”
The shroud used to cover the body is blood stained around the area that hid the executed president’s face. His neck is abnormally twisted at a 90 degree angle giving evidence to what appears to be busted blood vessels on his left cheek.

Sunni Muslims expressed outrage surrounding the manner in which the former president was executed and the execution video that surfaced. Displeasure with the video was not limited to the Sunni’s as several leaders questioned the method by which the sentence of death was carried out.
