Free PRElection App in iTunes more Powerful than Polls
Who do you think will win the upcoming election, Mitt Romney or Barack Obama?
The free PRElection app in iTunes is a tool that allows prospective voters to cast their vote early for the 2012 US Presidential election, among other elections. Unlike national polls, which randomly sample members of the U.S. population, the PRElection app allows anyone with an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to cast their vote early. This means no guessing or wondering whose votes are really counted in the presidential election prediction.
In addition, the PRElection app constantly records and reports vote tallies within the app. Anybody can view the current PRElection result statistics by number of votes cast, as well as percentage of votes held. The results are also posted publicly on the PRElectionapp.com homepage.
As of Friday, October 19th, Romney is leading at 55.3%, with Obama trailing at 40.7%. It is important to note that PRElection is not simply a poll. Users actually vote for their candidate, and are able to change their mind if they choose to do so. Undecided voters can learn about the different candidates from within the app, and can simply mark ‘undecided’ and cast a ballot at a later time.
The PRElection app is free in iTunes and allows anyone to predict the election results.
