October seems to be the month of Bachelor breakups. Bachelor Pad 3 couple Tony Pieper and Blakeley Jones have announced they are ending their brief engagement. The split is amicable, according to Pieper.
"Unfortunately, things didn't work as we had hoped. No one is to blame. It just ended up being a lot harder than we expected. I wish her nothing but the absolute best. She deserves total happiness,” he tells Wetpaint.
The news comes just weeks after the breakups of Bachelor couple Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson and Bachelorette couple Emily Maynard and Jef Holm.
Pieper, a contestant on Maynard’s Bachelorette season, and Jones, a contestant on Flajnik’s Bachelor season, met over the summer on Bachelor Pad 3. Pieper proposed with a $100,000 Neil Lane ring on the reunion special in September.
