Chasing Mavericks, starring Gerard Butler, Jonny Weston, Elisabeth Shue, Abigail Spencer and Leven Rambin, opens in theaters Friday, October 26. The sports drama is based on the true story of a teen surfer who convinces a veteran surfer to help him conquer the Mavericks surf break.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 56 minutes and is rated PG for thematic elements and some perilous action.
