Melissa Rycroft is thankful for fans’ prayers and well wishes in the wake of the head and neck injury she suffered Sunday during Dancing with the Stars rehearsals. The extent of Rycroft’s injuries is unknown and it is unclear if she will be able to perform on tonight’s show.
"Thank you so much for sending your prayers. Still seeing and talking to doctors this morning, will give more details soon, but thanks for your love!" Rycroft Tweeted Monday.
The former Bachelor star’s pro partner Tony Dovolani added, "Thank you all for your prayers. Melissa Rycroft's health is the most important to me! So fingers crossed that she's ok."
The pair is supposed to perform a tango and a group freestyle routine tonight. Another contestant will be booted from the competition on Tuesday’s results show. In addition to Rycroft the remaining contestants include Emmitt Smith, Sabrina Bryan, Apollo Anton Ohno, Kirstie Alley, Kelly Monaco, Shawn Johnson and Gilles Marini.
