Romney Enjoys 15 Point Lead in Free PRElection App’s Pre-Election Voting

PRElection will be monitoring results closely immediately following the debate and over the next few days. PRElection is a free app that allows users to vote in the presidential and all 468 congressional races this year. PRElection is not a poll, but instead represents real votes of real people, providing an instantaneous pre-election snapshot of the current position of thousands of voters. Voter supplied demographics including registered and likely voters, age, education, geographic location, ethnicity and other categories are used to provide detailed analysis of PRElection results.
Unlike traditional pre-election polls which typically only include about 3,000 randomly selected people, the PRElection app is available to anyone with an iPhone (3GS, 4, 4S & 5), iPod Touch (3rd - 5th gen), or iPad. It constantly records and reports the voting data to make it publicly available to users of the app. The data is also transferred to a real-time graph so that users can correlate any changes in voting behavior to events such as political debates. As such, it will be interesting to track tonight’s presidential debate using the PRElection App data.
