Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is expecting again. Nearly a year after suffering a miscarriage, the mom of two confirms she is pregnant. The baby will be the first child for Messer’s husband Jeremy Calvert. Messer is already mom to 2-year-old twin daughters Aleeah and Aliannah with ex-husband Corey Simms.
"Jeremy and I are excited to be adding a new addition to our family. Being a teen mom was difficult, but I'm older and in a different place now -- married to Jeremy and excited for our family to grow,” Messer said in a statement Wednesday. "Ali and Aleeah can't wait to meet their new brother or sister. We feel incredibly blessed and look forward to this next chapter in our lives."
Messer, 20, later Tweeted her thanks to well wishers. "THANKS SOOO MUCH EVERYONE! #PositiveTweets makes this momma soooo happy!!! @Calvert505 are in such a good place! : ) Love all of you!" she wrote.
The couple wed in April, less than a year after Messer ended her first marriage. Messer and Calvert can be seen on the new season of Teen Mom 2. The premiere is set to air on MTV on November 12.
