It’s over for Taylor Swift and Connor Kennedy. A close friend of Swift tells Us Weekly magazine the pair ended their brief romance “a while ago.” the split was amicable and Swift, 22, and Kennedy, 18, remain friends, according to the insider.
"They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine,” the friend says.
Swift’s busy work schedule and the recent release of her album Red reportedly played a part in the breakup. "It's been over a month since they've even seen each other,” the insider adds. "With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year."
The singer has not commented. She began dating Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in July. Swift previously dated Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas, Twilight star Taylor Lautner and actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
