NBA Scores from Jan. 13; Adam Morrison, Tim Duncan, Steve Nash, and Dwyane Wade lead their teams to wins

Adam Morrison scored 17 points and Sean May had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Charlotte Bobcats (12-23) past the Philadelphia 76ers (10-27) 89-83. Emeka Okafor added 10 points and 9 rebounds for the Bobcats. Samuel Dalembert finished with 12 points and 15 rebounds for Philadelphia.

Richard Hamilton scored 22 points while Ronald Murray finished 21 points to lead the Detroit Pistons (21-14) past the Boston Celtics (12-24) 81-73. Rasheed Wallace added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Pistons. Gerald Green led the Celtics with 24 points and Al Jefferson grabbed 22 rebounds.

Kevin Garnett scored 32 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves (19-16) past the New Jersey Nets (16-20) 109-98. The Timberwolves shot just under 57 percent from the field. Vince Carter and Jason Kidd each had 24 points in the New Jersey loss.

The San Antonio Spurs (27-11) held a 14 point lead at the end of the first quarter and went on to beat the Washington Wizards (20-16) 93-80. Tim Duncan had 18 points and 11 rebounds while Tony Parker finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists in the Spurs win. Gilbert Arenas had 17 points on 6 of 20 shooting.

The Chicago Bulls (21-17) manhandled the Memphis Grizzlies (9-29) 111-66. Ben Gordon finished with 24 points and 6 assists while Kirk Hinrich had 20 points and 8 assists. The Bulls out-rebounded the Grizzlies 59-37 and had 21 more assists than Memphis. Chicago shot 48 percent from the field while Memphis managed just 30 percent shooting.

Steve Nash had 23 points and 8 assists while Amare Stoudemire had 12 points and 10 rebounds to push the Phoenix Suns (28-8) past the Orlando Magic (22-16) 107-101. All five starters for the Suns scored in double figures. Jameer Nelson led the Magic with 26 points while Dwight Howard had an off night with 10 points.

Dwyane Wade had 32 points and 10 assists and Jason Williams had 20 points as the Miami Heat (17-19) beat the Utah Jazz (24-13) 119-110. Jason Kapono added 18 points while Udonis Haslem finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds for Miami. Carlos Boozer led the Jazz with 29 points and 14 rebounds.

Dikembe Mutombo had 11 points and grabbed 18 rebounds and Tracy McGrady had 37 points and 9 assists as the Houston Rockets (25-13) beat the Sacramento Kings (14-20) 115-111 in overtime. Rafer Alston finished with 22 points and 8 assists for the Rockets. Ron Artest led the Kings with 34 points.

LeBron James had 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in the Cleveland Cavaliers (23-13) 104-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers (17-20). Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 20 points and 8 rebounds for Cleveland while Anderson Varejao added 12 assists. Corey Maggette led the Clippers with 22 points and 7 rebounds.
