Brad Pitt Designs Furniture Collection With Frank Pollaro

Brad Pitt’s resume already includes acting, architecture and jewelry design, and now the 48-year-old can add furniture design to that list. Pitt, who has six children with fiancé Angelina Jolie, has partnered with furniture designer Frank Pollaro to release a new collection of pieces. The line includes chairs, accent tables, dining tables, a bed and even a marble bathtub.

"I've been doodling ideas for buildings and furniture since the early 1990s, when I first discovered [Charles Rennie] Mackintosh and [architect] Frank Lloyd Wright," the actor tells Architectural Digest.

Pitt, 48, says his partnership with Pollaro is effortless. “It just so happens Frank and I speak the same language. And we both have a predilection for far too much wine,” he says, praising Pollaro for embodying “the same mad spirit of the craftsmen of yore, with their obsessive attention to detail.”

Pitt and Pollaro’s collection will be introduced in New York from November 13 to November 15. Pitt’s next film, Killing Them Softly, hits theaters November 30.
