Hood Tech Reports Immediate Demand for its Super-EO Turret

Hood Technology reports immediate demand for its new Super-EO turret.

According to Hood Tech's Dr. Andy von Flotow: "Our new “Super-EO” imaging turrets have been subjected to in-theatre customer evaluation for the past few weeks. The turret’s ability to enable the recognition of faces and the reading of license plates from beyond audible range has resulted in immediate customer demand for this product. It is heartening that our customers continue to have the procurement freedom to respond to new technical developments and to acquire the best.”

Hood Tech’s Dr Lars Bergstrom adds: “Delivery slots are over-subscribed for our first production batch of these turrets, currently in assembly. These “Super-EO” turrets augment Hood Tech's product family of stabilized imaging turrets. In the past 10 years, Hood Tech has delivered several thousand units.”

Hood Technology was founded by Dr. Andy von Flotow in Hood River, Oregon in 1993. In addition to stabilized imaging systems, Hood Technology develops, tests, and manufactures launch systems for a variety of UAVs and monitors blade deflections in industrial turbines and jet engines, a diagnostic method for anticipating future failures.
