The Bachelorette may be getting a celebrity boost next season. RadarOnline.com reports show bosses are contemplating making Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke the next Bachelorette.
"Cheryl has been in talks with producers to be the next Bachelorette and they think she’d be a really good choice. She has a huge fan base, she’s great on television and they definitely think people would want to watch her find true love on TV,” a show insider tells Radar.
Burke, who is currently partnered with Emmitt Smith on the first ever DWTS All-Stars season, is not yet a sure thing; producers are also reportedly talking to newly single Emily Maynard about returning for a second Bachelorette season. Maynard ended her 5-month engagement to Bachelorette winner Jef Holm last month.
"I am sorry to tell you that Jef and I have, indeed, parted ways. It was a very difficult and heartbreaking decision. As you know, at first I wasn't sure that I should even be The Bachelorette, but I am a hopeless romantic and I do believe in the show. I have no regrets because I did find love and shared an incredible journey with a really special person – and you know what, we tried our best because the love between us was so real,” the single mom said in a statement. “I have nothing but respect and love for Jef and his family, but ultimately we are just at different points in our lives.”
