Bollywood to have their own Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan announce engagement
While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie represent the union of the ultimate Hollywood duo, Bollywood may be going one step further. Brad and Angelina are merely a Hollywood couple, Bollywood is now preparing to give birth to a marriage. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have announced their engagement and plans to marry later this year.
The marriage will unite two of the most recognizable stars in Indian film. Rai, 33, was crowned Miss World in 1994 and has since stared in several movies. Bachchan, 31, is the son of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, two legends of Bollywood cinema.
Rumors about the soon to be married couple have circulated for some time now. They have appeared in several films together and have been anointed the Brad and Angelina of Bollywood.
Their marriage is expected to take place some time in February or March.
