Emily Maynard is getting over ex-fiance Jef Holm with a NASCAR truck racer. According to reports, the former Bachelorette star is dating 33-year-old Jason White. An insider tells Us Weekly magazine they witnessed Maynard and White flirting and holding hands at the Carrie Underwood concert in Maynard’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina on November 3.
"They were all over each other. Jason guided her through the crowd and held her hand as they walked downstairs,” the insider claims.
The sighting comes less than a month after Maynard announced she had ended her 5 month relationship with Holm. A source says Maynard considers White a “safe” pick because of her connection to the NASCAR world through her late fiancé Ricky Hendrick. Hendrick, a NASCAR driver who died in a plane crash in 2004, is the father of Maynard’s 7-year-old daughter Ricki.
"Emily tried something new, dating Jef," says the source. "She is going to go back to what she knows and considers safe."
Meanwhile, Bachelorette producers have allegedly approached Maynard about returning to the show for a second season. They are also reportedly considering Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke for the position.
