Apparently, not stopping to talk to CNN anchor Don Lemon is a big no-no! Lemon launched a scathing Twitter attack against actor Jonah Hill for allegedly acting like “a tool” during a recent run-in at an unspecified hotel.
“Said hi to Jonah in a hotel. Think he thought I was a bellman. Didn't know his name til the bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind,” Lemon wrote on Thursday.
Hill eventually Tweeted back, "I said hi. What do you want me to do, move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn't realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace.”
Lemon, 46, shot back with, "Hardly. You're not my type. But I know rude. And you were."
"I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me," Hill explained. "Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude."
Lemon added, "The bellman and I laughed at how self-important you were. Just being honest. Be nice. Stardom is fleeting."
The TV journalist continued ranting about the supposed slight on CNN’s Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien. "Jonah Hill doesn't owe me anything, and he may have been having a bad day ... but Jonah Hill treated me like the help,” he said.
Lemon said he simply wanted to let Hill know he was a fan, but the 21 Jump Street actor gave nothing but a "wet handshake."
