It looks like Emily Maynard may still have feelings for her Bachelorette runner-up Arie Luyendyk Jr. RadarOnline.com reports Maynard is not happy Luyendyk is dating Bachelor winner Courtney Robertson, who ended her 9 month engagement to Ben Flajnik last month. Apparently, the single mom hoped to reunite with Luyendyk after her split from fiancé Jef Holm.
“When Emily saw that Arie was dating Courtney, she got a little jealous,” an insider tells Radar. “It kind of rubbed salt into the wounds for her because the relationship she had with Jeff didn’t work out and it was a tough decision for her to let Arie go.”
Part of the 26-year-old’s regret allegedly stems from fear that her fame will fade. “There was no doubt that the pair had an instant chemistry with one another and she was incredibly attracted to him. But she made the wrong choice and now she’s sweating if it will affect her fame. Emily knew that being together in a celebrity relationship would keep her relevant – but now she’s concerned that people will just forget about her,” the source adds.
Maynard split from Holm last month. She was recently spotted getting cozy with NASCAR truck racer Jason White at a Carrie Underwood concert in Charlotte, North Carolina.
