Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox Digging ‘Dirt’

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have already established their ability to be ‘Friends’ now the two will be at each other’s throats in ‘Dirt’ for one episode. The new FX Networks show, produced by Cox and her husband David Arquette, characterizes the underhanded and manipulative lifestyle of a celebrity magazine editor.

It is a role that Cox has some familiarity with, taking her back to the days of the Hollywood horror ‘Scream.’ Playing an investigative reporter trying to uncover a story of a slasher, Cox shared the screen with Neve Campbell, Drew Barrymore, Rose McGowan and Jamie Kennedy.

While she hasn’t recruited any of her big screen friends she has grabbed her former ‘Friends’ roommate.

Aniston will be playing the role of a rival editor Tina Harrod, looking for the same dirt Cox’s character, Lucy Spiller, attempts to dig up.

The episode is set to air March 27.
