American Idol Season Six Returns Tonight with Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson

American Idol will begin its sixth season tonight with a two-hour premier highlighting auditions from Minneapolis, Mn. The hit reality TV show has become a must watch for millions of viewers, last season averaged 30 million an episode.

With Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and Ryan Seacrest back the magic formula should once again translate into mega-numbers for the Fox show. The show premiers tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST and will have a second two-hour show tomorrow evening at 8:00 p.m.
