Tamera Mowry Welcomes Son Aden John Tanner

Tamera Mowry is now the proud mom of a healthy baby boy! The former Sister, Sister star gave birth to Aden John Tanner Housley Monday, November 12 at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Baby Aden, who weighed in at 9 lbs. 5 ounces, arrived two weeks after his due date. He is the first child for Mowry and her husband, Fox News correspondent Adam Housley.

Mowry, 34, recently shared her excitement about meeting her son. "Had a dream about my son. Woke up wanting to hold him," she Tweeted. "Oh wait, haven't delivered yet. So I rubbed my belly instead. Can't wait to kiss his face."

In a People.com blog, Mowry opened up about being ready for her pregnancy to be over. “If I have yet to learn patience, my son is in the process of teaching me now,” she wrote. “I have learned that I am not in control and that he will decide when he comes.”

She announced her pregnancy in April.

Little Aden already has a playmate in Mowry’s 1-year-old nephew Cree. Cree is the first child of Mowry’s twin sister Tia Mowry.
