CNN’s Rob Marciano Joins Nancy O’Dell On Entertainment Tonight

Entertainment Tonight has gained a new anchor. ET bosses say CNN news and weather anchor Rob Marciano will join Nancy O’Dell in hosting the show.

"We are so pleased to welcome Rob to the ET family," says ET executive producer Linda Bell Blue. "Rob brings with him a passion for news, a wealth of knowledge about the entertainment industry and an enormous amount of charisma that viewers have been responding to for years. We know he will be an outstanding fit for our show, our audience and the immensely talented Nancy O'Dell.”

Marciano will begin his new gig in January. He replaces longtime host Mark Steines. Steines left the show last July after 17 years.  O’Dell joined ET in January 2011.

Marciano joined CNN in 2003 as a weatherman. He then moved to a field correspondent position and regularly served as a fill-in anchor. He is perhaps well known for his extensive coverage of Hurricane Katrina and the BP oil spill.
