Justin Bieber was cited for a traffic violation Tuesday evening while driving a white Ferrari in West Hollywood. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore says Bieber received a ticket for driving with an expired registration and making an unsafe turn.
“He was obviously enjoying his vehicle more than he was recognizing the laws,” Whitmore said.
Bieber has not commented, but he did post a picture of flashing police lights on Instagram. This was the 18-year-old’s second ticket in less than 6 months. The pop star was pulled over for speeding on an LA Freeway in July. He told authorities he was trying to get away from paparazzo Paul Raef. Raef, 30, was arrested for chasing Bieber and then not stopping when police tried to pull him over along with Bieber.
The Boyfriend singer made headlines this week for his rumored split from longtime love Selena Gomez. The Disney actress is said to have dumped Bieber because of “trust issues.”
"She broke up with him about a week ago. With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It's not easy, but the relationship needed to end,” an insider told People.
“It's been a really challenging experience over the last year because of their crazy schedules. Selena definitely had some major trust issues with Justin,” another source told Us Weekly.
"Right now it is a break and tomorrow it could be back on knowing them . . . it's hard to say how they will end up," the source added. "Maybe she feels more serious about it this time. We'll see."
