Alabama Crimson Tide running back Mark Ingram is expected to play in Saturday’s game against Florida International despite spending much of the week suffering from the flu.
Head coach Nick Saban said Ingram was feeling better and would suit up for the Tide’s second game of the season. Ingram, along with backup quarterback Star Jackson, missed Tuesday’s practice due to illness.
Ingram played a big role in Alabama’s 34-24 victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies last Saturday, carrying the ball 26 times for 150 yards and a touchdown.
