Brit Awards: Lily Allen, Gnarls Barkley, Snow Patrol, Damien Rice, and Arctic Monkeys Earn Nominations
The often embattled and always entertaining Brit Awards have announced the nominees for this year and leading the pack with four nominations is 21-year-old Lily Allen. For Allen it has been an almost surreal rise to fame. Unknown to most just one year ago, Allen gained international appeal through a community website page that launched her career.
Now the new kid on the block is up for Best Female Solo Artist, Best Breakthrough Act, Best Album, and Best Single.
Also picking up multiple nominations are Gnarls Barkley, Snow Patrol, James Morrison, and Corrine Bailey Rae.
The Brit Awards are Scheduled for Feb.14

British Female Solo Artist: Amy Winehouse, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jamelia, Lily Allen and Nerina Pallot.
