Blog Supports “Jewelry Made in America” Initiative

Wedding blog lends support to the brand new “Jewelry Made in America” movement.

Wedding Planning and Accessories, a new online wedding resource dedicated to almost everything needed for a bride or groom’s successful wedding day, would like to highlight a cause that should be considered very important to Americans right now.

Wedding Planning and Accessories is proud to endorse the “Jewelry Made in America” initiative. With today’s economy being at the top of nearly every business owner and consumer’s mind, it is time for the jewelry industry to call attention to one particular selling point which can help break through the glut of imported – and often inferior – jewelry products. “Jewelry Made in America” is meant to help raise and maintain the standard for the American jewelry industry as a whole. While there already are many domestic manufacturers that have for years produced excellent quality jewelry, the call to action for this new project should help reinforce that the term “made in America” ought to always be associated with being a cut above the rest.

The Beginning of the “Jewelry Made in America” Initiative
The “Jewelry Made in America” initiative is a partnership developed between American wedding band manufacturer Novell and the jewelry trade publication The Jewelry Book. Starting with a thought-provoking essay and product showcase in an upcoming issue of the magazine, these two companies hope to bring other American jewelry manufacturers together for a cost effective cooperative marketing effort. In these challenging times, it is wise for organizations with the same interests to ban together and become one solid voice. The “Jewelry Made in America” initiative hopes to do just that. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Novell’s Marketing Director Rick Mulholland via e-mail at
rick@novelldesignstudio.com for more information. The jewelry product showcase is free of charge for invited companies that meet certain specified criteria. Affordable advertising rates are also being offered. Should space in the showcase no longer be available, other opportunities for increased awareness exist on an upcoming website, blog and Facebook page.
