Evergreen Solar (Nasdaq: ESLR) $1.94. Yoday announced its new ES-C Series solar panels, designed to substantially expand the company’s offering for the global off-grid market. This new line of 80, 120 and 125 W panels will be manufactured by Evergreen Solar’s contract manufacturing partner, Jiawei Solarchina Co., Ltd., using cells supplied by Evergreen Solar.
The ES-C Series of panels are suitable for direct 12, 24 or 48V battery charging in a wide variety of off-grid applications. The panels provide higher voltages for superior battery charging performance, particularly in hotter climates. Similar to the current line of Evergreen Solar panels serving on-grid markets, the ES-C line of panels deliver more electricity with the least environmental impact of any silicon based solar panel currently available.

Transcend Services (Nasdaq: TRCR) $16.39. Today announced that it has entered into a five-year single-source contract to provide medical transcription services to Health Management Associates, Inc. (NYSE: HMA).
Prior to signing this agreement, Transcend had individual contracts with approximately 45 of HMA’s 56 hospitals. The new agreement expands the existing relationship between Transcend and HMA to include HMA’s hospitals which are currently using other transcription service providers. These hospitals will be transitioned to Transcend over a six-month period starting on October 1st. In addition, any future hospitals acquired or managed by HMA will transition to Transcend as soon as practicable. HMA’s hospitals also have approximately 80 transcriptionists who will be offered the opportunity to join the Transcend team on or about October 1st. Transcend expects the incremental impact of the new agreement to be accretive to annual diluted earnings per share by approximately $.04 once the new hospital implementations are complete.
What They Do: Transcend believes that accurate, reliable and timely transcription creates the foundation for the electronic medical record.

The Logansport Expansion will increase the overall deliverability of the Nexus Gathering System by adding approximately 17 miles of 20-inch pipe, as well as associated compression and dehydration facilities. It will provide gathering customers with additional high-value takeaway options in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana, and Shelby County, Texas—areas currently experiencing significant drilling activity—and expand Regency’s presence in the Haynesville Shale. The Logansport Expansion will transport gas gathered by the Nexus Gathering System to a 300,000 MMcf/d interconnect with CenterPoint Energy Gas Transmission’s Line CP.
What They Do: Regency Energy Partners LP is a growth-oriented, midstream energy partnership engaged in the gathering, contract compression, processing, marketing and transporting of natural gas and natural gas liquids.
