Angus T Jones Bashes Two And A Half Men In Youtube Video

First it was Charlie Sheen that bashed Two and a Half Men, and now it’s Angus T. Jones that is slamming the popular CBS sitcom. In a Youtube video discussing his Christian faith, Jones calls the show “filth” and asks fans to stop watching it. The video was posted by Forerunner Christian Church.

"If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men.' I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' and I don't want to be on it,” says Jones, who has played Jake Harper since 2003.

"Please stop watching it; stop filling your head with filth. Please,” the 19-year-old urges. “People say it’s just entertainment. ... Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, and especially with what you watch. It's bad news.”

"A lot of people don't like to think about how deceptive the enemy is," he adds. "There's no playing around when it comes to eternity ... People will see us and be like, 'I can be a Christian and be on a show like Two and a Half Men.' You can't. You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't."

Neither CBS nor Jones has commented on the video. Jones renewed his contract this year to appear on the 10th season along with Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher. Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen as the lead character in 2011 when Sheen was fired.
