Zac Brown and Wife Welcome a Daughter

Hours after learning of his four CMA Awards nominations Wednesday morning, country singer Zac Brown and his wife welcomed their third child. Shelly Brown gave birth to a daughter at 11:50 p.m.

Georgia Sloan joins older sisters Lucy, 16 months, and Justice, 2. “September ninth was a day of many blessings for the Brown family,” a rep for Brown said in a statement.

Brown’s CMA nominations, including new artists, vocal group, single and song of the year, were his first ever. Other nominees include Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, George Strait and Kenny Chesney.
