Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie don’t plan to waste any time when it comes to tying the knot. At the New York premiere of his latest film Killing Them Softly, Pitt told reporters the wedding will be held “soon.”
"I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come," Pitt said. “The time is nigh. It's soon. I got a good feeling about it.”
Pitt popped the question this past spring with a custom diamond ring made by Robert Procop. The couple have been together for 7 years and have six children together - Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and 4-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. This will be the second marriage for Pitt, 48, and the third for Jolie, 37. Pitt was previously married to Jennifer Aniston, and Jolie was previously married to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
Killing The Softly, which also stars James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta and Richard Jenkins, opens in theaters this Friday. Pitt’s upcoming films include World War Z, Twelve Years a Slave and The Counselor. Jolie is currently working on Maleficent with Elle Fanning.
