Car Bomb in Kashmir Kills at least Three

At least two police officers and a civilian have been killed after a car bomb detonated in the volatile Kashmir region.

The explosion took place outside the main jail in Srinagar as a police vehicle was passing. In addition to those killed at least ten officers were injured in the blast, several of those injured are now listed in critical condition.

There have been no claims of responsibility for the attack yet Muslim separatists have been waging a constant battle in Indian-administered Kashmir for some time. Both India and Pakistan claim the Kashmir region as their own and have wage wars over the territory.
